Rolex Paris Masters: Seven French Players in the Qualifying Draw, Schedule Revealed
For 28 players, the Rolex Paris Masters begins on Saturday with the qualifying rounds. Two rounds are scheduled on the three new side courts at Paris La Défense Arena.
Seven French players are in the draw, including four wild card recipients: Ugo Blanchet will face Ethan Quinn, Valentin Royer will take on his compatriot Pierre-Hugues Herbert, Adrian Mannarino will challenge Alexander Shevchenko, Quentin Halys will play Damir Dzumhur, Kyrian Jacquet will meet Aleksandar Kovacevic, and Luca Van Assche will go up against Francisco Comesana.
The No. 1 seed in the draw is Jenson Brooksby. He will be up against Botic Van de Zandschulp.
Among other notable matchups, Sebastian Korda will play against Vit Kopriva, Reilly Opelka, who was just beaten in the Basel quarterfinals, will face Mattia Bellucci, and David Goffin will clash with Hamad Medjedovic.
