A tennis community manager's sad commentary on the duration of the preseason

Tennis players regularly complain about their busy schedules, to the detriment of their health.

Bastien Fachan, a community manager in the world of tennis, shared a symptomatic statistic on X.

The last point of the 2024 season was played at the Next Gen ATP Finals on December 22, while the first point of the 2025 season was played on December 27.

So there will have been an official tennis break of just 5 days.

Its publication did not fail to provoke reactions, notably from Thanasi Kokkinakis, who ironically replied, "It's healthy ."
