Video - Exhausted, Rinderknech Suffers Cramps During Vacherot's Speech in Shanghai

The twelve days of competition were extremely intense in Shanghai, with weather conditions difficult for the players to manage.

Arthur Rinderknech, who had a fabulous run in the Chinese city, was stopped in the final by Valentin Vacherot. On the verge of physical breakdown, the Frenchman suffered from cramps during his cousin's speech.

He eventually collapsed to the ground before receiving help from a physiotherapist and finished the ceremony sitting on a chair.
