"A New Era Begins": Raducanu Surprises Everyone with Her Apparel Choice
Since her historic victory at the 2021 US Open — the first Grand Slam title won by a player coming from the qualifiers — Emma Raducanu has never stopped making headlines.
In 2025, the British player has regained some stability and posted promising results, including a semifinal in Washington and quarterfinals in Miami and at Queen's.
Exit Nike, hello Uniqlo
Still coached by Francisco Roig, Raducanu will aim for a return to the top 20 next season. But beyond the court, it's on the marketing front that she is making waves today.
While she had been under contract with Nike since her debut, the British player will now wear outfits from the brand Uniqlo starting in 2026. This is at least what was revealed by Craig Shapiro's podcast on X (formerly Twitter).
Raducanu will thus join the Japanese apparel maker, which has already designed outfits for two legends of the ATP Tour: Novak Djokovic between 2012 and 2017, and then Roger Federer starting in 2018.
