A Struggling Swiatek Overcomes Eala in Three Sets
Swiatek won her match against Eala in 2 hours and 14 minutes. After three sets, the four-time Roland-Garros champion prevailed with a score of 4-6, 6-4, 6-1.
In a tightly contested first set, the Philippine player pulled ahead by displaying great efficiency, converting both of her break point opportunities. Meanwhile, the world No. 2 failed to capitalize on her chances, winning only one of seven break points.
