Alcaraz dominates a good Monfils

Gaël Monfils has little to reproach himself for.
He played a very high-level match (22 winners, 12 unforced errors, 10 aces, 74% of points won on first serve), and would probably have beaten most of the players on the circuit at this level.
Unfortunately for him, it wasn't enough to beat this Alcaraz.
The solid Spaniard made the difference when it mattered, winning in two sets (6-4, 7-5).
Impactful on both serve and return, he showed constant aggression while making very few errors.
Alcaraz is still going from strength to strength and will now face the winner of the duel between Paul and Machac in the quarters.
