Alcaraz: "I think it's the best season of my career"
Thanks to his victory against Lorenzo Musetti at the ATP Finals, Carlos Alcaraz is guaranteed to finish the 2025 season as the world number one. When asked about the past year in a press conference, the Spaniard expressed his satisfaction with his performance.
"Frankly, this season has been magnificent. Consistency has always been my weak point, and I did everything I could to fix that. It was a burden, so I tried to improve it, and I think we succeeded.
I managed to win or reach the final in almost every tournament I played, and that's what I take away from it. We managed to overcome a difficult start to the year: I think it's the best season of my career."
