Alcaraz, new look and ambition intact: first images of his return to training
Alcaraz left Flushing Meadows to the applause of the crowd celebrating his sixth Grand Slam title. Eliminated in the second round last year, he dreamed of reclaiming a trophy he hadn't touched since 2022.
Although the native of El Palmar subsequently skipped the Davis Cup to take some rest, the first images of his return to training emerged this week, filmed on the courts of Murcia, Spain.
Sporting his new blonde dye and more than a week after his exit from the tournament, the player displayed an intensity that speaks volumes about his ambitions.
With his new status as world number one, Alcaraz will participate in the Laver Cup (September 19–21), before continuing with the Asian tour, eventually finishing in Paris-Bercy and then the ATP Finals.
