Alcaraz returned to training after his victory against Zverev in Cincinnati
Carlos Alcaraz won his semifinal against Alexander Zverev. Physically diminished, the German couldn't defend his chances against the Spaniard, who took the match in two sets.
On Monday, Alcaraz will face his longtime rival Jannik Sinner for the 14th time on the main tour. The two best players in the world will battle for glory in Ohio.
In any case, Alcaraz—who confirmed he would take a rest day this Sunday ahead of the final—was back to work, training just minutes after securing his spot (see video below).
In excellent form these past few months, the world No. 2 will compete in his 7th consecutive ATP final and hopes to claim his 6th title of the 2025 season in this showdown against Sinner.
