La Canadienne, championne à New-York en 2019, a été contrainte de déclarer forfait pour le Grand Chelem étasunien, sans préciser de raison.
Depuis ce titre, elle n’a rejoué qu'une 2e semaine de Grand Chelem... à New York, lors de l’édition 2021.
