Auger-Aliassime Back Sooner Than Expected: Eyes Second Straight Montpellier Title
Forced to retire due to a thigh injury in the first round of the Australian Open, Félix Auger-Aliassime will resume competition sooner than expected.
Indeed, the Canadian will make his return at the Montpellier ATP 250 from February 2 to 8 thanks to a wild card granted by the organizers.
Eyeing a Repeat?
Auger-Aliassime will thus return to Occitanie to defend his title won last year against Aleksandar Kovacevic.
He will be one of the top seeds in the 16th edition of the tournament, which will also see Arthur Fils, Ugo Humbert, Tallon Griekspoor or Tomas Machac take to the Patrice Dominguez court.
