Auger-Aliassime on Sinner: "It's the best serve-return combination I've ever seen"
Following his defeat at the 2025 ATP Finals against Sinner (7-5, 6-1), Félix Auger-Aliassime shared his analysis of the Italian's power and precision.
In Turin, the Canadian delivered a high-flying first set before suddenly collapsing in the second, unfortunately hampered physically. After the match, he stated:
"It's very difficult to beat Jannik, especially here. He plays at an incredible level from the first point to the last. It's probably the best serve-return combination I've ever seen. I approach every match as a battle, but against him, you have to be perfect in everything. It's very complicated," he shared in an interview with Punto de Break.
Finally, the 25-year-old player wanted to reassure everyone about the injury to his left calf:
"It's something that doesn't worry me too much. I had withdrawn from Metz because of something else. I don't think I'm too limited physically."
