Baghdatis on Djokovic: "If I were him, I would never retire either"
In an interview with Tennis365, Marcos Baghdatis was asked about the possibility of Novak Djokovic winning another Grand Slam and the hypothetical date of his retirement.
For the Cypriot, he should continue as long as he enjoys playing. He stated: "Year after year, the chances (of winning a Grand Slam) are decreasing more and more, that's for sure.
"Still competing with the best"
But he is still there, he is still among the top five players in the world, he is still competing with the top two, or even the top three.
So he is still there. But for how long, I think that depends solely on him, and especially on his state of mind, whether he still enjoys it as much and whether he plays at that level. If I were in his place, I would never retire either. But it all depends on him."
