Becker: "I expect to see a very, very motivated Novak Djokovic at these Olympics"
Boris Becker is no ordinary man. A great tennis champion, he has also made a name for himself as a coach.
The man who coached Novak Djokovic between 2014 and 2016 was kind enough to talk about his former day's sessions at the Paris Olympics.
And for the German, it's clear that the Serb will be even more dangerous than he was at the Grand Slam. For Becker, he'll be more motivated than ever.
In a statement relayed by "Tennis 365", he said: "Novak was very transparent and open at the beginning of the year about the fact that his most important tournament would be the Paris Olympics.
That's not to say he didn't take the French Open or Wimbledon seriously, but he's never won Olympic gold. If you've won everything there is to win, it's only natural that you want to win the title that's missing from your record.
With that in mind, I expect to see a very, very motivated Novak Djokovic at these Olympic Games. Playing for Serbia will give him the extra 10% he needs against these talented young players on the rise."
