Belinda Bencic gave birth in April 2024 and had already made her return to competition at the end of October 2024.

After her win by retirement over Anna Kalinskaya in Adelaide, she said, "My expectations are still low.

This is one of my first tournaments back. I didn't even think I'd be here. The comeback happened faster than I expected, but I just want to enjoy it.

Physically, I can still work every day and improve, I'm also working on my tennis.

You never stop learning. I hope I can climb the rankings again."

Bencic will face Liudmila Samsonova in the next round.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.
