Le Bulgare a parfaitement enchaîné après son coup d'éclat des huitièmes de finale face au n°2 mondial. Il vient d'écarté avec autorité Jarry pour se hisser en demies du Masters 1000 chinois où il défiera Humbert ou Rublev.
