Djokovic: "I used to plan my calendar six months in advance."
Novak Djokovic is increasingly entering the final phase of his career.
At 37, the Serb is no longer chasing ATP points or classic trophies.
What motivates him is representing his country and taking part in Grand Slam tournaments.
Asked about the next stage of his career, Djokovic explained that he now plans his calendar in a very different way: "Usually, during my career, I used to plan my calendar six months in advance.
But that's no longer the case, it's more spontaneous.
First of all, I need to rest physically, emotionally and mentally before even thinking about what I'm going to do, how, how much and where."
