Fucsovics, a 2nd ATP title, 6 years later!
Marton Fucsovics won the 2024 Tribac Open on the clay courts of Bucharest on Sunday. The Hungarian beat Argentina's Mariano Navone in just over 2 hours and 2 sets (6-4, 7-5) in the final. The culmination of a week in which he finally managed to play his best tennis again.
At the age of 32, Fucsovics wins his second ATP title, 6 years after his first, also on clay, in Geneva in 2018. Thanks to this victory, he also makes a nice move in the ATP rankings. He will be very close to the Top 50 on Monday, moving up 29 places to 53rd position.
