Garcia invited to play WTA 500 tournament in Abu Dhabi
Caroline Garcia is looking to regain her confidence. The Frenchwoman, now ranked 76th in the world, is keen to get back to her best.
After being eliminated in the first round of the Australian Open against Naomi Osaka in a three-set match, the US Open 2022 semi-finalist has added a new tournament to her schedule in the coming days.
The 31-year-old former world No. 4 has received an invitation to take part in the WTA 500 Abu Dhabi tournament, to be held next week in the United Arab Emirates.
The cast for this tournament is gradually being completed. Caroline Garcia joins Elena Rybakina, Paula Badosa, Daria Kasatkina, Emma Navarro, Beatriz Haddad Maia, Jelena Ostapenko and Diana Shnaider among the 2025 participants.
