"I don't play for money": When Sinner showed awkwardness after last year's Six Kings Slam
Freshly crowned at the Six Kings Slam for the second consecutive year, Jannik Sinner pocketed the sum of $7.5 million within a few days.
A colossal check that the Italian had awkwardly discussed last year in an interview with Eurosport:
"I don't play for money. It's as simple as that. Of course, the prize money is really nice, but I went because there were possibly the six best players in the world and I had the opportunity to compete against them. It was a pleasant event for me, it was my first time going to Riyadh."
This year, the world No. 2 has changed his tune, admitting that participants "know what's at stake" during these three days of exhibition.
