I will always be there for him, no matter what he needs," says Del Potro about his friendship with Djokovic
On Thursday, Juan Martin Del Potro made an appearance on the Arthur Ashe court at the US Open for an exhibition event organized with other legends of the game and celebrities.
Returning to the court where he triumphed in 2009 against Roger Federer, the Argentine and former world No. 3 gave an interview to Hola! in which he spoke, among other things, about the friendship he has built with Novak Djokovic:
"Novak is a very special friend. I will always be there for him, no matter what he needs. I will always be grateful that he came to play my farewell match in Argentina, and I know how difficult his schedule is.
He knows he can count on me for anything, whether he needs my experience or wants to share something during a tournament.
