Isner back soon?
Is John Isner really finished with professional tennis?
Retired since 2023 and considered by many to be one of the greatest servers in tennis history, Isner has no lack of confidence in his abilities.
Without announcing a comeback, the American giant recently confided that he felt capable of returning to the world's top 100 in the event of a comeback: "I think I could be in the world's top 100 if I came back to the tour.
I could get a wildcard for a few challengers and try to build something from there.
There are a few issues with my body that I'd have to resolve, and I'd have to do some research to find out why my foot is still bothering me.
I think if I could do that, I could be in the top 100 in the world, I'd maintain myself easily."
