It was a unique opportunity I would have regretted if I hadn't taken it, Murray talks about his collaboration with Djokovic

Andy Murray was able to collaborate with Novak Djokovic between January 2025 and May 2025. Unfortunately, this partnership did not have the desired effects and ended prematurely.

In an interview with the Times, the Briton reflected on this decision. He states: "At first, I enjoyed it, but the results were obviously not what I hoped for, and I'm sure it was the same for Djokovic.

Nonetheless, I'm glad I did it. It was a unique opportunity I would have regretted if I hadn't taken it.

Spending time with one of my greatest rivals, one of the greatest athletes of all time, trying to help him, learn from him and understand him, it was fascinating.

But to be a good coach, in my opinion, you need to spend a lot of time with the person, and it's hard when they don't live near you.
