La Tunisienne, finaliste l'an dernier, est venue à bout en 2h56 d'une Bouzkova qui a chèrement vendu sa peau. Touchée à la cuisse droite dans le 2e set, la Tchèque n'a pas renoncé pour autant et a poussé Jabeur à se surpasser pour l'emporter.
