La Tunisienne a été longtemps malmenée par la Serbe sur le Lenglen avant de réussir à faire tourner la partie en milieu de 2e set. Elle a fini par dérouler son tennis dans la 3e manche et elle retrouvera ainsi l'Américaine Pera en huitièmes.
