Jack Draper Before Dubai Return: 'I've Had Time to Work on Serve, Volley and More'
Jack Draper is set to make his official return to competition this Monday on the courts in Dubai.
The Briton did play a Davis Cup match earlier this month, but then delayed his ATP Tour comeback by withdrawing from the Doha tournament.
"I've had plenty of time to work on my net play and serve"
Ahead of his matchup against Quentin Halys, last year's semifinalist, Draper discussed the aspects of his game he worked on during his absence:
"I've had plenty of time to work on my net play, my serve, and to improve many aspects of my game. When you're constantly traveling and competing week after week, you don't really have time to make progress on lots of points, especially with the current tour schedule.
So, even though this period was way too long, having time to improve my tennis and prepare for the future has ultimately been a good thing. We'll see what it produces on court."
