Kyrgios Reflects on Murray: "I Don't Even Know If He's Still My Friend"

Absent from the courts but not from controversy, Nick Kyrgios has once again made headlines. In a podcast, he candidly discussed his falling out with Andy Murray, a former friend turned mere colleague.
Always ready to make a few statements on the professional tour, Nick Kyrgios was the latest guest on the Unscripted podcast. The 30-year-old player, who has been absent from singles since the Miami Masters 1000, talked about his relationship with Andy Murray.
The two were very close on the tour, but it seems both have since moved on:
"I don't even know if he's still my friend. I'd say he's more of a colleague now. We were closer before, but now I don't know.
He was one of the people who supported me a lot during difficult times, but these days, we don't talk as much. I wanted to invite him to my podcast, but he was acting too important. That's the truth. I told him: 'Dude, make some time.'"
