Kyrgios: "Tennis is the most difficult sport in the world".

Le 01/12/2024 à 16h04 par Elio Valotto
Kyrgios: Tennis is the most difficult sport in the world.

Nick Kyrgios is known for his flamboyant tennis, but also for his legendary outspokenness.

Reacting to a tweet that assessed the redistribution given to different champions according to their sport or competition of choice, Kyrgios made an appeal to the tennis community: "Tennis is a sport where you pay for everything, you subsidize your coaches, your travel, your parents, your physiotherapists, whereas in most sports, everything is subsidized by the governing body.

Tennis is a tough sport. In my opinion, it's the toughest sport in the world. Mentally, you have to be incredibly strong, because you're always traveling, you never settle down, you never have a routine. Physically, you have to be an animal, like Novak Djokovic.

These men are among the most skilful athletes in the world. It's a brutal sport, really."
