Kyrgios and Kokkinakis to play doubles at the Australian Open 2025?
Nick Kyrgios will be making his return to competition in January.
After an exhibition in the United Arab Emirates to get back into the swing of things, the Australian will play in Brisbane more than a year and a half after his last official match.
After that, the former world No. 13 in the ATP rankings should be present at the Australian Open, three years after his last appearance in Melbourne.
For the occasion, Thanasi Kokkinakis has revealed his intention to play the men's doubles tournament with him.
"At the Australian Open, Nick and I plan to play doubles again," he explained, according to Championat.
The two men have already played several Grand Slam tournaments together. In particular, they won the Australian Open in 2022.
Back then, they triumphed over another Australian duo, Max Purcell and Matthew Ebden, to claim the title.
