Live - Alcaraz calls in physio for thigh injury
Things are looking up for Carlos Alcaraz on the score-sheet against Alexander Zverev in this Roland Garros 2024 final. After letting the 3rd set slip from his grasp (losing 7-5 when leading 5-2), he now leads in the 4th.
But the situation is still not ideal for the Spaniard. At 4-1 up in the 4th set, he called in the physio and asked for a medical time-out (a break twice as long as normal: 3 minutes).
He seems to have injured his left thigh, probably an adductor. We'll have to keep an eye on the situation over the next few minutes.
