Mannarino confident for French tennis: "One of our two best players will play in the ATP Finals at the end of the year".
Adrian Mannarino will kick off his 2025 season at the Nouméa Challenger this week, where he is seeded n°1.
Before returning full-time to the circuit at the end of the year, the man nicknamed the "Divine Bald One" granted an interview to Eurosport.
Asked about the level of French tennis and his predictions for the new season, Mannarino believes that Arthur Fils and Ugo Humbert could feature in the Top 10 very soon:
"I think we'll have one of our two best French players at the ATP Finals at the end of the year.
Maybe as an alternate. Ugo or Arthur, I think one of them will finish in tenth place. They're playing very well and are right where they should be at the moment.
It's not really a surprise for me.
They're where they're supposed to be, and they're very strong both tennis-wise and physically.
They're young, they're still progressing, so I don't see any reason not to see them have a great season to finish at the Masters."
