Mpetshi Perricard one set away from Basel final

At the age of 21, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard continues his lightning progression.

Still buoyed by his monstrous service quality, the Tricolore has just won the first act of the ATP 500 Basel semi-final against Holger Rune (7-6).

Dominated in the exchange, he was able to keep his back to the grindstone when needed, while relying on a destructive first ball.

After 49 minutes of play, he is now just one set away from an unexpected final.
