Mpetshi Perricard's impressive progress

Following his final in Basel, Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard made the biggest progress of the season on the circuit.

He started 2024 ranked 205th in the world and is currently 50th in the ATP rankings, ahead of tomorrow's Basel final against Ben Shelton and next week's Paris-Bercy Masters.

According to ATP statistics, the Frenchman has gained the most places in the rankings this season, ahead of Juncheng Shang (136 places) and Brandon Nakashima (96 places).

His progress has been marked by an impressive serve, which has already made an impact on grass (eighth final at Wimbledon) and now on indoor tournaments.
