Muchova withdraws from Doha

Due to a leg injury, Karolina Muchova is forced to withdraw from the WTA 1000 tournament in Doha.

She said: "I'm sorry to miss the Doha tournament this year. I'm working on my recovery, see you all in Dubai."

This withdrawal comes on top of the one announced a few hours ago by Madison Keys, who decided to take some time off after winning the Australian Open.

Danielle Collins and Anna Kalinskaya are also absent from the first WTA 1000 of the year.
