Muguruza on Sinner: "I admire his mental strength"
Garbine Muguruza, former world number one and current director of the WTA Finals, gave an interview to Corriere Dello Sport. When asked about the state of Italian tennis, the Spaniard was very complimentary towards Jannik Sinner.
She states: "I obviously know Carlos a little better. They have different personalities, and I love that. Alcaraz is very outgoing, he smiles a lot, expresses his emotions with much more passion and is overflowing with energy.
With Jannik, you immediately notice his sense of responsibility and his work ethic. As a former tennis player, I admire his mental strength, because we all experience ups and downs, but Jannik is a real rock, and I am impressed that at such a young age, he masters all these aspects so well.
He is destined for a bright future."
