Nadal and Fonseca meet again... 14 years later!

Rafael Nadal arrived in Jeddah on Friday to make an appearance at the Next Gen Masters, a visit which is part of his role as ambassador for the Saudi Tennis Federation.

The record holder of French Open titles took a photo with Joao Fonseca, 14 years after their first meeting.

The Brazilian shared both photos (from 2010 and today) on his Instagram account. In the first, he was just four years old and still in his mother's arms.

14 years later, the same photo was reproduced with Nadal, Fonseca and his mother accompanying him during the tournament.

It's a beautiful story that proves, as we've seen with other current tour stars, the longevity Rafael Nadal has enjoyed throughout his career.
