Nadal on the rise in Bastad!

Nadal on the rise in Bastad!

Rafael Nadal is gaining further confidence in his game at Bastad. On Thursday, he qualified for the quarter-finals, his second of the season after Brisbane in January.

But above all, the Spaniard played a match of excellent quality to dominate Cameron Norrie in two sets (6-4, 6-4) and just over an hour and a half. In particular, he reacted very well when trailing 4-1 in the second, winning 5 games in a row with authority to close out the match.

Nadal will now face Argentina's Mariano Navone, ranked 36th in the world and very good on clay, in a bid to qualify for the semi-finals and confirm this very good impression.
