It could have been a trap match for Tommy Paul, but in the end he didn't have to battle that hard against Alexander Bublik in the third round of Wimbledon. The American, who won the title at Queen's two weeks ago, continued his superb start to the grass-court season by winning in three sets (6-3, 6-4, 6-2) and less than an hour and a half.
The current world No.13 has now reached the last 16 of the London Grand Slam for the second time in his career after 2022. He will face either Fabio Fognini or Roberto Bautista Agut, and will have a great opportunity to qualify for his first quarter-finals on the grass of the All England Lawn Tennis Club.
