Jessica Pegula won't be doing the Toronto-Cincinnati double. After winning the title in Canada last week, the world number 6 came within a whisker of a superb double.

However, in the Cincinnati final on Monday, she came up against a stronger opponent.

Up against an in-form Aryna Sabalenka, the American couldn't do much, logically losing in two sets (6-3, 7-5).

At the end of the match, Pegula admitted that she had been bluffed by her opponent, going so far as to compare her to a certain Serena Williams: "First of all, congratulations to Aryna.

I thought she was Serena with the way you served today.

In the end, I even thought that against Serena, it might have gone differently, but not against you.

Well done again to you and your team."
