Aryna Sabalenka is back to her best.
After several difficult weeks when her body didn't always leave her in peace, Sabalenka rediscovered all her power and efficiency in Cincinnati, where she won the title.
Playing on a surface perfectly suited to her aggressive game, the Belarusian didn't give her opponents many chances.
Not conceding a single set this week, she recorded convincing victories over Svitolina (7-5, 6-2) and Samsonova (6-3, 6-2) before defeating world number one Iga Swiatek in the semi-finals (6-3, 6-3).
Against Jessica Pegula, who had won 9 straight finals, Sabalenka once again dominated the proceedings.
Untouchable on serve and in the rallies, Sabalenka left very little space for a disillusioned American (6-3, 7-5).
