Rafael Nadal, who retired a week ago, has taken up golf again!

Rafael Nadal is officially no longer an active tennis player.

The Majorcan, who won 92 titles including 22 Grand Slam titles, bid farewell to the Davis Cup finals in Malaga last week.

Unfortunately for him, the adventure was short-lived, as Spain was eliminated by the Netherlands.

Nadal played the first singles of the quarter-final, but couldn't get the better of a solid Botic van de Zandschulp, who beat him in two sets (6-4, 6-4).

November 19, 2024 thus marked the first day of the rest of "Rafa's" life.

Nadal has already taken part in a golf tournament

It didn't take long for the 38-year-old Spaniard to find a new occupation, as he decided to devote himself to his other passion, golf.

In a tournament held at his home in the Balearic Islands, the king of clay finished eighth in the final round of the Circuit Hexagonal Q-Romia.

This performance enabled him to bring his Rafa Nadal Academy team up to fourth place in the overall standings.

After a more than successful career in tennis, the Spaniard may be about to embark on a long-term career in another sport.
