Diego Schwartzman officially retired from the world of professional tennis when he was beaten today by Pedro Martinez in the 2nd round in Buenos Aires.
After his defeat, the Argentine received a kind message from Rafael Nadal, whom he played 12 times on the ATP circuit (11-1 in Nadal's favor):
"Congratulations Diego on your superb career! You've been an example of fighting and surpassing yourself, and I'm glad we've shared so many moments on the circuit. Good luck for the next stage!"
