Rublev's real fake injury after Djokovic's withdrawal from the ATP Finals?

Rublev's real fake injury after Djokovic's withdrawal from the ATP Finals?

Qualification for the ATP Finals (Masters) in Turin is obviously one of the most important topics on the ATP Tour at the moment. The race for the last few places has been fierce in recent weeks, with many players still hoping to be among the lucky eight.

Among them was Andrey Rublev, who found himself 9th in the Race rankings after Paris-Bercy, and so decided to play the Moselle Open this week in a bid to regain 8th place. The Russian won his first match on Tuesday morning in Metz, overcoming Lorenzo Sonego (7-6, 7-5) to qualify for the quarter-finals.

But in the meantime, Novak Djokovic officially withdrew from the Masters tournament, making Rublev's 9th-place finish qualifying. The Russian then announced on Tuesday evening that he was withdrawing from the draw in Metz due to an abdominal injury.

An injury and a timing that inevitably raise questions among tennis followers. Indeed, it would appear to allow Rublev to avoid expending unnecessary energy before taking on the world's best players in Italy.

For the Moselle Open organizers, however, there is no doubt about the reality of the injury, at least officially: "During his match, Rublev felt pain, confirmed by the medical staff on site, who suspected an abdominal injury.

He has opted to withdraw from the tournament and travel to Turin to undergo a treatment and recovery protocol, in order to improve his chances of participating in the ATP Finals."

The only "injury" that Novak's suffering from atm is a dent in his pride this season, having his only success in the Olympics in winning the gold medal.

Bowie, I only mention Novak when "people", who did nothing in their life, post hateful comments about him.

And, yes, Novak is one of the few players I comment about.

I also have a life outside of TT and don't have time or OCD to "predict" every match and congratulate the winner.

There is probably a diagnosis for that, but not in my domain.

Bowie, this is about Rublev's injury, nothing to do with Novak.

We all know that Novak is The Greatest Of All Times, but you should stop dreaming about him that much.

That's not healthy!

What can I say, Bowie, you got my attention.

And if you don't understand why on your own, then you should look somewhere else for help.

Read the headline. It also refers to Novak, your the one who eats, drinks & sleeps Novak, as it's 99% of the time the only player that you post a comment about.

The greatest and yet the most pompous and arrogant player in tennis history.

Adam, why am I the only person who posts comments about Novak that you decide to reply to & harass, as there are a number of people on TT who also make comments about Novak, but you don't harass them.

In fact, there is another comment by someone on this particular item below, but I notice that you've completely ignored it. As you do all the time. As well as the comments you made about me yesterday in response to a post that khan left under the Iga Swaitek match.

De Minaur did the same in Belgrade, but had time to do so before his opening match so didn’t need to ‘fake it’. No need to pick on Andrei
