Rune comes through against Berrettini
A few weeks after their duel in Cincinnati, Holger Rune and Matteo Berrettini met again in the second round in Shanghai on Monday.
However, the scenario turned out to be much the same as in their previous encounter.
Berrettini started better than his opponent. Serving and hitting hard, he won the first game before suffering the Dane's comeback.
Gradually gaining momentum, Rune blew away an Italian who was too erratic to qualify for the third round.
For a place in the last 16, he will face Jiri Lehecka.
