Rune Secures Fourth Masters 1000 Final at 21, But Is He the Youngest? The Ranking Revealed
By defeating Daniil Medvedev (7-5, 6-4) on Saturday, Holger Rune earned his spot in the Indian Wells final. This marks the fourth final for the 21-year-old Dane, following Bercy (2022), Monte-Carlo, and Rome (2023).
In the show *Sans Filet*, journalist Benoît Maylin revealed the ranking of the youngest players to reach a fourth Masters 1000 final since its inception in 1990.
The top spot goes to Rafael Nadal (19 years old). He is followed by Alcaraz, Medvedev, Safin, and Djokovic (20 years old). Then come Chang, Roddick, Sampras, Hewitt, Murray, Zverev, and Rune (21 years old).
Holger Rune will face Jack Draper in the final on Sunday.
