Le Norvégien a eu du mal à se mettre en route sur l'ocre du Lenglen, mais il a fini par prendre la mesure de Zhang sans frayeur en 2h35. Finaliste en 2022, il affrontera le vainqueur du duel Jarry-Giron pour une place en quarts.
