Elena Rybakina made a successful start to the Tokyo tournament this Thursday by beating Leylah Fernandez. The Kazakh player is now just one win away from qualifying for the WTA Finals.

She will therefore have to beat Victoria Mboko in the next round. After her victory, she stated: "It was a very difficult match today, it's always tough to play against Leylah, especially when it's my first match in the tournament…

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.
