La n°2 mondiale a su serrer le jeu à la fin d'un 1er set très indécis face à Shymanovich pour virer en tête puis survoler le 2e acte. Elle jouera la gagnante du duel Rakhimova-Frech (dernière rotation sur le Court 13).
