Saturday's weather at Roland-Garros - Sun... behind the clouds, and rain
The sun shining in the Parisian sky will remain well hidden behind the clouds this Saturday, June 1, at Roland-Garros. We'll have to wait until the middle of Day 8 of the tournament, on Sunday, to see it make its long-awaited appearance. In the meantime, this 7th day will again be drenched in rain in the early afternoon, according to Météo France. Météo France is also forecasting maximum temperatures of 16°C (60°F), 8 degrees below seasonal norms.
The roofs of Court Philippe Chatrier and Court Suzanne Lenglen will therefore remain closed for at least most of the day. While matches on the side courts are likely to be interrupted once again. If you're heading to Roland-Garros to watch the matches today, don't forget your umbrella - it'll be useful at the very least for getting around in the aisles - and don't forget to bundle up, as April weather awaits you to celebrate the 1st day of June.
Enjoy your tennis and your Saturday.
