Commenting on the atmosphere on court during his match, Sinner admitted he was astonished: "I must say I was very surprised, because the crowd was very decent.
There was a good atmosphere and it was a pleasure to play there, to take part in this match.
I knew that the second set would be a tough battle and it was exactly what the public were hoping for: a good match.
When I step on to the court, especially during the evening sessions, I always feel honored because these are special occasions, no matter where you are or when you're playing.
Obviously, if your opponent is from home, the game is a bit different. But the crowd has been really warm."
